In answer to the question:

Do you want the Lake District National Park Authority to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Coniston to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Number cast in favour of a 'Yes': 168

Number cast in favour of a 'No': 43

Total number of spoilt votes: 0

Turnout was 30.71%

The result declared is therefore that more than half of those voting have voted in favour of the Coniston Neighbourhood Plan. The Lake District National Park Authority is the planning authority.

Heversham and Hincaster neighbourhood planning referendum

The Heversham and Hincaster Neighbourhood Plan Referendum took place on Thursday 16 February 2017.

Do you want South Lakeland District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Heversham and Hincaster to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Number cast in favour of a 'No': 60

Turnout was 36.2%

The result declared is therefore that more than half of those voting have voted in favour of Heversham and Hincaster Neighbourhood Plan.
