Domestic homicide review (DHR)

A Domestic Homicide Review (DHR) is a review of the death of a person, aged 16 or over, where the death has, or might have, resulted from violence, abuse or neglect by:
- a person they were related to, or who they had an intimate personal relationship with
- a member of their own household
The purpose of a DHR is to understand where there are lessons to be learned and to make an action plan to prevent other homicides.
We carry out our reviews using Home Office guidance:

- there has been one domestic homicide review and report in South Cumbria
The South Cumbria Community Safety Partnership (CSP) is made up of a mixture of organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors. They work together to reduce crime and provide reassurance to our communities.
