Public toilets are provided by a number of different organisations across South Lakeland.
Kendal Courtesy Toilet Scheme
Kendal operates a Courtesy Toilet Scheme which offers clean, safe and accessible toilets in convenient locations across the town. You are welcome to use the toilets in the participating businesses during their normal opening hours. Several of the venues offer wheelchair access and baby changing facilities. Outside In and Kendal Leisure Centre have a Changing Places toilet.

Kendal Indoor Market, Market Place: Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 4pm.
Westmorland Shopping Centre: Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm and Sunday 9:15am to 3pm. Disabled toilet available.
Booths, Wainwrights Yard: Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Disabled toilet available.
Finkles Restaurant, Yard 34, Finkle Street: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
The Bristly Hog, 69 Stricklandgate: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4:30pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
McDonalds, 71 Stricklandgate: Monday to Sunday 7am to 10pm. Disabled toilet available.
Charlies Cafe Bar, 95 Stricklandgate: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm. Disabled toilet available.
Brew Brothers, 69 Highgate: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Comida (Food), 92-95 Highgate: Wednesday to Friday midday to 9pm, Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Disabled toilet available
Brewery Arts Centre, 122a Highgate: Foyer: Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm. Bar: Wednesday to Saturday 11am to 10.30pm. Cinema: Wednesday to Sunday 4pm to 10.30pm.
Quaker Tapestry Museum, Friends Meeting House Stramongate: Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
Outside In, Beezon Road (Changing Places toilet): Monday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Kendal Leisure Centre, Burton Road (Changing Places toilet): Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday 7am to 5.30pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
