South Lakelands art scene is exciting and vibrant which we support through the arts and events service and grants. We want to help create an arts and events programme which is:
- broad based
- quality
- district wide
- for the participation and enjoyment of residents and visitors
We aim to achieve this by providing services directly and indirectly.
We work in partnership with:
- individual artists
- groups
- key organisations
We want to establish a balanced programme which responds to local needs and reflects the interests of a rural and urban population. Grants are given to support local arts development initiatives and arts events within communities, particularly in rural areas.
