Sedbergh cemetery

This small cemetery is at the southern edge of the town, on Busk Lane off the A684 Kendal Road. It is approximately a quarter of a mile from the town centre and the Parish church.

There are no non-denominational areas in this cemetery, which is all consecrated ground in accordance with the rites of the Church of England.

Parking is available on the road outside the cemetery, and there is a public WC in the cemetery, with a stand pipe for water for flowers etc.

There is no permanent staff presence in the cemetery, and the records are kept in the Cemetery Office in Kendal. Intending visitors are advised to check with the office if they are unsure of a particular grave location.

A popular path runs through the cemetery, and visitors are asked to please keep dogs on a lead as they pass through.
