Rural Crime and Policing Conference: May 2017

The Rural Crime and Policing Conference was attended by members of High Furness LAP, Grange and Cartmel LAP, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and police officers. Speakers covered topics such as the police rural crime strategy, poaching, burglary and speeding. The key information from the meeting has been shared in the May 2017 LAP newsletter.

LAP Flood Conference: November 2016

The Flood Conference was attended by LAPs members and representatives from Cumbria County Council, The Environment Agency, Highways Cumbria and Action with Communities in Cumbria (ACT). Speakers covered topics such as resilience, emergency planning, highways, drainage, communication and natural prevention methods.
