Neighbourhood Planning Referendums
Grange-over-Sands Neighbourhood Planning Referendum
A referendum relating to the adoption of the Grange-over-Sands Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 26 July 2018.
The question that will be asked in the Referendum is:
"Do you want South Lakeland District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Grange-over-Sands to help it decide planning applications in the local area?"
Voting in the referendum
In order to vote in this Referendum, you must:
- be registered to vote
- be registered to vote at an address within the parish of Grange.
The deadline to register in time for the referendum has passed.
The polling station
The polling station for the referendum will be:
United Reformed Church Hall
Kents Bank Road
The polling hours will be 7am to 10pm.
You will receive a poll card, similar to the ones we send out for elections, stating where and when you can vote.
If you can't vote in person
If you're not able to vote in person on Thursday 26 July, you may wish to vote by post or proxy.
The deadline to apply for a postal vote, change a postal vote or cancel a postal vote has passed.
The deadline to apply for a proxy vote has passed.
The deadline to apply for an emergency proxy vote is (for unexpected illness/physical incapacity or unexpected work/service reasons) is 5pm on Thursday 26 July.
