My Account – the easiest way to connect with SLDC

The latest innovation in our Customer Connect programme is the new My Account function.

My Account allows residents to access a range of services quickly and easily online, at a time that suits them, and My Account can be used for everything from requesting a new recycling box to applying for Covid business support grants.

It can also be used to check details about your local area, including planning applications, waste and recycling collection dates and your ward councillor contact information.

New features are being added all the time. The latest function to be included in My Account is the ability to link to your Council Tax and Business Rate details.

Leader of SLDC, Councillor Giles Archibald said: “We know that our residents have really welcomed the ability to contact us, find information and request services in a digital way during the pandemic.

“My Account makes that even easier. It is all part of our commitment to offer more accessible and convenient services for our communities.’’

The council’s Customer Connect programme is offering better access to services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week through improved digital options, restructuring the entire organisation to create a more flexible and customer-focused workforce and remodelling the main council offices to create high-quality office space for businesses to support job creation and economic growth.

Anyone who signs up for a My Account before 17 May 2021 will have the chance to win a superb iPad.

We have five 10 inch screen 32GB iPads to give away to My Account customers.

Anyone who has signed up for a My Account by 17 May (including anyone who has already signed up since My Account first went live) will be entered in a randomised draw and the first five My Account customers selected will win an iPad.
