Applying for a review of premises licence

Interested parties such as local people or responsible authorities (police and fire service) can ask us to review a premises licence.

It must relate to one or more of the statutory licensing objectives:

  • prevention of crime and disorder
  • prevention of public nuisance
  • public safety
  • protection of children from harm

When we have received an application for a review we have to display a notice outlining the grounds for the review on the premises.

We also have to put a notice on this website for 28 days.

This is unless the police ask for a review when the notice will be displayed until the case has been heard by the Licensing Sub Committee.
