Information for Council Tenants
SLDC transferred its housing stock to South Lakes Housing
(SLH) on the 5 March 2012 following a tenant ballot and
approval from the Secretary of State. The transfer triggered
the start of a multi-million pound investment programme to improve
homes, communities and services.
SLH is now the largest Registered Provider of social housing
in South Lakeland. SLDC has four Councillors on the Board of
Directors at SLH.
