The following housing associations provide more general types
of housing. If you require housing for either people with
special needs/supported housing, or housing for older people
please click on the links below;
The Council works in partnership with Home, Impact, Two Castles,
Eden and Mitre Housing Associations to develop new affordable
homes. The following new homes are either being constructed or will
shortly commence construction (all for rent):
- 11 homes at Old Hawkshead Road, Coniston (Eden HA)
- 7 homes at Old School, Satterthwaite (Eden HA)
- 14 homes at former YWCA, Stricklandgate, Kendal - for young
people (16-24 years) - (Impact HA)
