Why are there empty homes?
Most empty home owners are either trying to sell their property
or trying to repair it. Others may have inherited an empty
home. The reasons people repair their empty home can be to live in
it, let it, sell it or use it as a second home.
(Sometimes a home is empty because the owner
is living elsewhere, but will be returning at a later date.
For example, people who are in a care home, or who are giving care
somewhere else).
