Pest Control
The Council does not provide a pest control
treatment service, however we can use powers to ensure that
land owners and occupiers control pests on their land or
property. There are many skilled and qualified private
contractors in the district that can deliver a
quality pest control treatment service .
Householders who have a pest problem are therefore recommended
to contact a private company these can be found in the
Yellow Pages or in
your local paper.
Please note it is the responsibility of all land
owners to ensure that they control rats and mice on their land and
where necessary the council can use powers to enforce land
owners and occupiers to adhere to
this responsibility.
