Ornamental Gardens
, LA11 6AB
Dating back to 1865 the gardens and pond form a beautiful
Victorian influenced vista, with a fountain at the heart.
There is a an unusual wildfowl population as well
interesting shrub borders and magnificent evergreens. The gardens
are a quiet oasis well suited to the genteel nature of
Grange-over-Sands and are well worth a visit. The park is a
flood relief system and was designed as such, which is why the
water rises and falls.
The gardens are close to the Main Street car park and railway
station.
