Building Control - The Group
Two teams of qualified Building Control Surveyors and Group
Assistants operate within the East and West areas that
make up the district.
Each team has a team leader and is available for early
discussion of your project - large or small.
The group operates a development team approach and will bring
together representatives of other functions of the Council and
other Agencies to ensure minimum delay and maximise your
time.
The office operates a quality management system to BS EN ISO
9001:2000 and uses information technology to deliver an efficient,
effective and quick response service.
The Governments Best Value inspector recently judged the
service to be good, 2-star rating and further improvement
likely.
