Envelope recycling
Envelopes can now be recycled using either your blue boxes
or at the paper and card recycling banks. We recommend any address
details are removed from the envelope before recycling.
Recycling Clean Aluminium Foil
We can now recycle clean aluminium foil in both the blue box
used for glass and cans and at the can recycling banks. Foil that
is not clean should continue to be disposed of in your grey
bin.
Are you planning some building work - do you need Building
Regulations Approval?
If you are planning to carry out some building work this must
comply with the Building Regulations. Find out more about
Building Regulations and how to
apply
Do you need Planning Permission?
The rules around making a planning application can be
complicated and rely on measurements and the history of the
property. Not every development needs planning permission as
the government allows minor “permitted” development.
General advice on the need for planning permission can be found
on the Planning Portal
website or see our Planning section
