Code of Conduct - Members Forms
In order to comply with the Code of Conduct, a Member must
register their financial and other interests with the Council’s
Monitoring Officer within 28 days of the date of their election or
co-option. In addition, if there is a change in their circumstances
they are required to notify the Monitoring Office of the change in
writing within 28 days of the change occurring.
Similarly, a Member must notify the Monitoring Officer within
28 days if they receive a gift or hospitality which they estimate
to exceed £25 in value, which must be declared on their Register of
Interests.
The Council's Standards Committee annually reviews the
Registers of Financial and other Interests, for both the District
and Parish Councillors. As part of the review Members are asked to
confirm that the details held in the Register of Interests are the
same by completing a 'no change' form'.
The relevant forms can be found below and may be
electronically completed.
However, as they are legal documents, they must be printed off
and signed personally by the Member concerned, before being sent to
the Monitoring Officer.
