Local Government Ombudsman

If you have made a complaint to the Council, and are not satisfied with the outcome, you may wish to pursue the matter through the Ombudsman. The Local Government Ombudsman service investigates complaints about councils and other authorites.

They are appointed by Her Majesty the Queen and are completely independent of the Government, councils and the people who complain to them.

Before the Ombudsman can investigate they will expect you to have gone through the steps as detailed in the Complaints Procedure.
