South Lakeland Community Strategy
The South Lakeland Strategic Partnership (SLSP) now replaced
by The One South Lakeland Partnership Board, brought together
key public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations
at a local level. These partnerships are seen as
fundamental to tackling key issues for local people such as
transport, jobs, education, health and housing. Solutions to
these issues require a range of organisations working together to
meet jointly agreed priorities.
The SLSP delivered the Sustainable Community Strategy which
was informed by local views and information.
The new work plan for the One South Lakeland partnership
