Ulverston Masterplans
The Ulverston Canal Masterplan is now available on this
website. It is important to note when reading it that the designs
and maps are indicative only. This is a very complex project and
each element of it will require further detailed design and
consultation.
It has been commissioned by the Ulverston and Low Furness
Partnership with funding from the NWDA and Cumbria County Council.
The members of the Partnership include: Ulverston Town Council,
South Lakeland District Council, Cumbria County Council, Ulverston
Traders, Furness Enterprise, Lake District Peninsulas Tourism
Partnership, NWDA and others.

ULVERSTON TOWN CENTRE MASTERPLAN
The Ulverston Town Centre Masterplan is now available on this
website.
- The three projects outlined: Market Hall, County Square and
Canal-Town Centre links are all complex projects.
- The designs are indicative only, and if they go ahead will be
developed via detailed design and consultation.
