Sedbergh Street Market
Every
Wednesday
On a site dominated by the magnificent Howgill Fells,
this small market exudes a friendly welcome and spectacular views.
The traders here seem to know every one by name!
The market is on Joss Lane car park, where the views must
be some of the most striking of all England's markets. Cars and
coaches can park conveniently beside the market stalls. Here
they sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables and fresh
fish to cakes and pet food to supplement the town's interesting
range of friendly inns, cafes, and shops.
From Wednesday 3rd. January 2007, this market has been
operated by Sedbergh Parish Council. Enquiries about pitches should
be made to the Community Office on 015396 20504 or
office@sedbergh.org.uk
