Food Hygiene Regulations - Guidance

On 1st January 2006 The Food Hygiene(England) Regulations
2006 introduced a requirement on all food businesses to
put in place procedures which are based on the principles of Hazard
Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), the Safer
Food, Better Business Pack can be downloaded from
www.food.gov.uk.
There is a legal requirement on ALL food businesses to provide
appropriate documents and records showing how the HACCP principles
are being applied.

was awarded a grant of over £300,000 through the Food Standards
Agency's Safer Food, Better Business programme in 2006. Since then
a number of small business training events have taken place with
great success.
