Food Safety Enforcement Policy 2011
It is this Council’s policy to strive to ensure that businesses and
duty holders provide safe food and drink to consumers.
The aim of this policy:
- To ensure a consistent approach to food safety related
enforcement within the District;
- To provide officers with guidelines to enable them to make
decisions, consistent with current Government advice;
- To inform the public and food businesses of the principles and
decisions by which enforcement action is taken.
