Health and Safety Enforcement Policy
It is this Council’s policy to protect the health and safety of
workforces and those affected by workplace activities within the
District.
The aim of this policy
- To ensure a consistent approach to health and safety at work
related enforcement within the district;
- To provide officers with guidelines to enable them to make
decisions consistent with current Health & Safety Executive
(HSE) Guidance
- To inform the public and businesses of the principles and
decisions by which enforcement action is taken.
