Searching for a Notice - using the tables above
The Council only serve a small number of Notices in any
particular year, commonly less than 10. This makes the
information contained within the tables easy to search. Each
table contains details of the case reference number, the parish,
the address, the alleged breach and details of the relevant dates
for each Notice. The tables are arranged in chronological
order based upon the date the Notice was served.
The GIS allows a map-based search to find details of all
Enforcement Notices or Breach of Condition Notices relating to
specific property or area of land. It is possible to
search by either address or postcode.
How to use the Online GIS
Any land or premises, which have been the subject to an
Enforcement Notice or Breach of Condition Notice is shown by a
blue dot on the map. To
retrieve the information the user should click on the “i”
icon. The enforcement details will then be shown in a
box below the map.
The AltRef (second column) provides the enforcement reference
which can then be looked up in the tables above. The first
two numbers of the AltRef relate to the year of the case, for
example 02132 is a 2002 reference.
A copy of each individual Notice can also be viewed as a PDF
document by clicking the relevant link within the table.
