Regeneration Statement
What is a Regeneration Statement?
Applications may also need to be accompanied by a supporting
statement of any regeneration
benefits from the proposed development including: details of
any new jobs that may be created
or supported; the relative floor space totals for each
proposed use (where known); any
community benefits; and reference to any regeneration
strategies that might lie behind or be
supported by the proposal.
When is a Regeneration Statement Required?
Major
* applications may need to be
accompanied by a supporting statement of any regeneration
benefits from the proposed development .
*Major developments are defined as residential
applications for 10 or more dwellings, or
residential sites greater 0.5ha. For all other uses, the
definition is a floor space of 1,000m2 or
more, or sites over 1.0ha.
