Do I need Planning Permission ?  

 

(Householder advice)

Advice on the need for planning permission can be obtained from the Planning Portal http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/permission/

If you wish to receive written confirmation whether planning permission is required for the works you propose please complete a Householder Planning Enquiry form enclosing the relevant plan and the fee of £36.00 :

Please be aware that if you choose not to follow this advice and the development does require planning permission, the Council may consider taking enforcement action to remove the unauthorised works.

 

(Non-Householder Commercial advice)

If you wish to obtain written advice whether planning permission is required you should complete the form below and submit it, enclosing a fee of £72 and any relevant documents, to the Development Management Team at South Lakeland District Council.

(Advertisement Consent)

If you wish to obtain written advice whether Consent is required to display an Advertisement you should complete the form below and submit it, enclosing a fee of £72 and any relevant documents, to the Development Management Team at South Lakeland District Council.
