Proposals Map
The online interactive proposals map allows users to view
land designations and allocations set out in the South
Lakeland Local Plan 2006 (adopted 1997), and the South Lakeland
Local Plan Alteration 2006 (adopted 2006), and as amended by the
LDF Core Strategy, adopted 20 October 2010. These documents
relate to the area of South Lakeland District
outside the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National
Parks.

It is important to note that property
boundaries shown on the mapping and data in the interactive maps do
not relate to land ownership; land ownership queries should be
referred to HM Land Registry
The Ordnance Survey mapping in the interactive
maps is provided by South Lakeland District Council in order to
fulfil its public function to make information available, as part
of the Council’s e-government strategy. Persons viewing this
mapping should contact the Ordnance Survey for advice where
they wish to licence Ordnance Survey map data for their own
use.
