Local Development Scheme
The Local Development Scheme (LDS) forms a
three-year project plan, setting out the proposed documents making
up the Local Development Framework (LDF) for South Lakeland outside
the National Parks. On 14th April 2010, the Secretary of State
confirmed a revised South Lakeland Local Development Scheme. This
was approved by the council's Cabinet and it came into effect on
May 24th 2010.
The Council approved the Local Development Scheme on 18 January
2012. The Progress Check page provides an update on progress
according to the current timetable.
The Monitoring Report (AMR) provides a
review of the scope, content and milestones of the LDF and assesses
the performance of current planning policy in the
District.
