Post Office and PayPoint Outlets
You can pay bills issued by the Council and
South Lakes Housing at ALL Post offices and local shops displaying
the PayPoint sign.

Council Tax, Business Rates, Overpayment of
Housing Benefit and Sundry Invoices
You can pay these bills at all Post Offices
displaying the PayPoint sign.
All you have to do is present the bar-coded
bill issued by the Council when you make your payment. There is no
extra charge made for using this service.
Due to increasing costs, the Council no longer
issues payment cards for Council Tax. However, if you have a
payment card, you may continue using it until your account
reference changes.
If you want to pay a Business Rates account by
payment card, please contact the Local Taxation section.

Council Housing and Garage Rent
If you pay Council housing and garage rent and wish to pay at a
Post Office or PayPoint outlet, you should
apply to South Lakes housing for a card to pay your rent
account.
You can pay parking fines at a Post Office (but not at a
PayPoint outlet). However, the Post Office does charge a fee for
providing the service.
