The winners of the 2011 Cumbria Tourism Awards
were announced at a special ceremony at Castle Green
Hotel in Kendal, on Thursday 7 July. Congratulations to
the South Lakes winners who were:
- Small Visitor Attraction of the Year:
Lakeland Climbing Centre, Kendal
- Small Hotel of the Year: Lindeth Fell
Country House Hotel, Bowness-on-Windermere
- Guest Accommodation of the Year - The Wild Boar
Inn, Windermere (joint winner)
- Holiday Park of the Year: Park Cliffe Camping and
Caravan Estate, Windermere
- Tourism Event of the Year: Lakes

Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2011
Congratulations to No. 43
and Woodclose Caravan
Park for their success at the Enjoy England Awards
held on Friday 15 April 2011. No. 43 at
Arnside won the Gold Award for Best Bed &
Breakfast/Guest Accommodation. Woodclose
Caravan Park at Kirkby Lonsdale won Gold Award
in the Holiday Caravan Park.
