Launching and Recovery Facilities
The slipway is located at Ferry Nab on the eastern shore of
Lake Windermere next to the Windermere Ferry.
It is open every day except Christmas
Day, weather permitting. Opening times vary according to the
time of year.
A fee is payable before launching.
Daily Rate
Craft: All untrailered non motorised craft which are carried
to the waters edge.
Charge (inc vat): FREE
Craft: All other craft up to 11 metres length or 3.5 tonnes
overall
Charge (inc vat): £12.50
Craft: Local residents 10 launch pass (25% discount)
Charge (inc vat): £93.75
Craft: Non-local residents 10 launch pass (10% discount)
Charge (inc vat): £112.50

Car Parking
Long stay tickets are available from the slip-way office, and
from the pay machines.
Multi Tariff with effect from 1 April 2011
Up to 1 hr - £1.50
Up to 2 hrs - £3.00
Up to 3 hrs - £4.00
Up to 4 hrs - £5.50
up to 6 Hrs - £6.00
Up to 10 hrs - £7.00
Up to 14 hrs - £8.00
