The Preferred Option for Growth in Penny Bridge indentifies land to the north of the Church / opposite Ellis Wood for residential use. This land is in the control of PFK clients (The Carlisle Diocesan Board of Finance). I can confirm that this land is available for development and that, as far as can be ascertained as this stage, has no physical constaints to prevent it from being deliverable. As such it would appear to meet the 10 strategic objectives of the LDF, and assists the Council in ensuring that the LDF meets the test of soundness as set out in Section 20 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
Please indicate if you wish to be notified when the Core Strategy has been:
Submitted to the Secretary of State for independent examination
Adopted by the District Council
