We write to suggest a development site for further consideration. The site is adjacent to Meadowdale, off Fowl Ing Lane Kendal, north of Sandylands and south of the preferred option site No.6 North East Kendal. The site was previously allocated for development but at the request of a former owner deallocated in the Alteration 1 Revised deposit of the South Lakeland Local Plan 2006 which was issued in June 2001.
The site is situated between an existing development site on the Sandylands Estate and the proposed Preferred option identified above. Services are readily available and development could readily be tied in with the adjoining site.
