We have recently been made aware that the fields between the Fell Road Sub-Post Office, and the road up to Spring Bank lane may be used for planning development. We are residents of The Avenue which is directly opposite these fields, and strongly oppose this proposal. We feel it will spoil the natural beauty of the area, create water supply problems and add to the problems of flooding lower down in the town. These are just a few of the many reasons we are against this proposal
