To which part of the Report does your representation relate?
Paragraph or Section
The Preferred Option - PO13 - Grange-over-Sands Functional Area 2025
Please state as clearly as you can the exact part of the Report you are commenting on by quoting the page number (if known), paragraph number, option name or number, or the number of the map, figure or table.
The use of land to this area of 500 homes with inhabitant growth of potentially 1,500 to 2,000 dependant of bedroom sizes will affect the edwardian outlook of the town and affect the outlook to Hampsfell. It will also create greater vehicle usage/more CO2 emmissions as cars/lorries will need to be used to access the narrow road to utilise the land for employment. Also the map is not clear on how far back it intends to use the land it only sits within one field but potential for 500 homes is very substantial and should be split evenly across the Grange over sands area to limit its impact.

What change(s) would you suggest for this part of the Report?
That the land use be subdivided up around Grange rather than concentrating of land use in one area and derelict land area's down near the railway station be used for the employment growth which would lessen the impact of fuel usage as the train station could be utilised for business users
Please use this space if you wish to set out a new option for consideration.
That the people of Grange be able to be apart of the consultation and that the growth of housing be considered to lessen its impact for the population stands at 4,000 and the intention to increase this by over 50% is not acceptable and is unlikely to be as high in other area's and would lose its impact as a coastal town becoming urban sprawl
