As with any website, the more you use it it the easier it becomes
but we hope it is fairly straight forward in the first
place. If you are having problems the following may be of some
help.

new to the Internet and need help
making the web easier to use try the excellent

Finding your way round our website
There are three main ways to find information:
- Browse using the navigation menu on the left
hand side. As you go down levels your path is shown above the page
heading in the breadcrumb trail. You can use this or the menu to
jump back to where you have been.
- Search using the search box in the top right
hand corner of teh site. There are separate searches for
committee
documents and planning
applications
- Use the
A-Z. This also contains services from County Council and other
organisations across Cumbria.

Downloading files from this site
We provide a lot of information in downloadable files -
generally PDF and Microsoft Word.
