Finding your way round our website

The website is divided into four main sections with the headings Services, Business, Leisure and News which take you to the appropriate areas where you can find the information you require.

On the right hand side of the Home page is the  "Do it Online" menu which has four options;

  • Report It - report and monitor service requests made to the Council (e.g., report an abandoned vehicle)
  • Pay for It - pay online for a range of Council service - eg bulky item collections
  • Apply for It - where you will find a selection of online application forms
  • Find It - locate a range of Council services using a map or postcode (e.g., recycling facilities)

There is the search button  - where you can type a key word from your query (e.g.,  Recycling) and select the information from the list supplied.

Alternatively you can use the A-Z of services button - just type the service you require (e.g., planning) and locate the information you require.

If you require a different format, text size, colour or translation you can go to the accessibility page where various options are available.

The pages in our Life Events section aim to provide you with information, guidance, practical advice and contact details on key life stages for example Having a Baby, Education, Marriage, Employment etc.
