How to take part in making decisions

The Council makes decisions in a democratic way using elected representatives. You can get involved the decision making process such as asking a questions in a council meeting and contacting your local councillor.

The guide is intentded to give an overview of the Localism Act and describes the main measures of the Localism Act under four headings:
