Report a Damaged Bin or Request Emptying
If you wish to report a damaged bin or one that needs emptying
please telephone 0845 050 4434, alternatively you can report it
online using the 'Feedback and Report It' link on the right.
We are responsible for providing street nameplates
as well as litter bins, seating and some information
signs, such as fingerposts.
There are over 850 litter and dog waste bins around
the district. Litter bins can also be used for dog waste, which
must be wrapped.
Bins are emptied regularly. This may be up to four times
a day for those bins at heavily used locations, whilst those
in areas such as main streets and playgrounds are emptied
daily. Bins in villages and quieter locations are emptied
weekly.
