Fly TippingFly Tipping

Fly tipping is any waste that has been unlawfully left in a public area. It is a serious offence to fly tip and reports will be investigated.
 
Please report any fly tipped waste to our Customer Contact Centre, telephone 0845 050 4434. If possible please include the location of the fly tipping and type of land involved, it may be on farmland, a sports field or in a lay-by for example. Also tell us the type and amount of waste involved, and if you see a vehicle try to give us a description and the registration number.
 
We aim to investigate all reports of fly tipping within two working days.
 
It is possible that fly tipped waste may include hazardous or dangerous materials. Do not touch the waste, or open any bags or containers.
 
Please dispose of all waste properly and legally. If you require any advice or wish to make use of the services available from South Lakeland District Council please telephone our Customer Contact Centre, 0845 050 4434.
