Effective Procurement in Cumbria (EPiC)
South Lakeland District Council is a member of EPiC (Effective
Procurement in Cumbria). EPiC is a collaborative procurement
arrangement across Cumbria made up of Cumbria County Council, the
six district Councils, the Lake District National Park Authority,
Cumbria Constabulary and the NHS. The group was formed as a
one-stop shop for public sector procurement, creating a joint
approach to improving the procurement process for supplier and
buyer alike, while generating savings.
