Taxi Licensing
Hackney Carriages and Private Hire vehicles are required to be
licensed to ensure that they are suitable for the carriage of the
public.
In addition, all drivers and operators of hackney carriages
and private hire vehicles are required to satisfy that they are fit
and proper persons to hold such licences.
