Please refer to South Lakeland District Council’s Asbestos Management Plan for background information,

  1. The information in this Register is provided for your protection.
  2. The information is the best available at the time of publication but you must not infer that it is based on a comprehensive survey of any building or structure. Many entries are historic and have been recorded as single findings arising from previous works and not as a result of specific surveys. Neither should you infer that the surveys were invasive of the structure of the building.
  3. The Register is updated as information becomes available so if you are uncertain about any entry or think that we may have more information you should contact the Council’s Property agent NPS Group at propertyenquiries@nps.co.uk or telephone 01539 797424.
  4. If you are proposing to carry out works on or use any premises owned or controlled by the Council you are advised to carry out your own inspections and surveys beforehand. Access can be arranged by contacting the NPS Group.
