Parish Plans

South Lakeland District Council has produced a Parish Plan Protocol and an Information Pack to help local community groups embarking on Parish Plans. In addition, SLDC can offer financial help for initial set-up costs or small projects arising from the production of the Plans.

The Parish Plan Protocol is intended as a guide for local community groups in the preparation of their plans and to help ensure that local communities can influence the development of the wider Community Strategy for South Lakeland.

Emma will act as the main point of contact for enquiries, monitor progress and ensure responses are provided to all enquiries within a target of 15 working days, as well as help to arrange meetings with relevant Council officers as appropriate.
