SLDC marks the passing of Nelson Mandela
South Lakeland District Council will today (Friday 6 December) be flying its flags at half-mast in a show of respect for Nelson Mandela. Flags will be flown at Kendal Town Hall and Ulverston Town Hall.
South Lakeland District Council Plan 2014-19 Consultation
South Lakeland District Council is asking the public to share their views on its draft council plan which gives its priorities for the next five years. The feedback will be used to help finalise the plan, which councillors will be asked to consider for approval in February 2014, alongside the council’s budget.

Burneside Neighbourhood Plan Area Application
South Lakeland District Council has received an application from Burneside Parish Council for the designation of a Neighbourhood Area. The council is now consulting on this application. Closing date: Friday 17th January 2014.
