SLDC Agrees £15m Budget

A rise of only 2.84 per cent, lower than last year’s 2.9% per cent rise and the lowest council tax increase in the Council’s history, has been achieved by South Lakeland District Council.  It has agreed a £15.034 million budget for 2010/11.

Until Sunday 4th April 2010, South Lakeland District Council is inviting you to have your say on the future of public toilets in the area.

Detailed information on the consultation is available by looking at the consultation exhibition boards 


Cumbria Choice Based Lettings

Choice Based Lettings is to be introduced in Cumbria for the letting of most Council and Housing Association homes.

A consultation is taking place between 15 February and 30 April 2010 on the Allocations Scheme.

Respect your Neighbourhood Roadshow coming to you

South Lakeland District Council is holding a series of Roadshows called Respect your Neighbourhood at different venues throughout South Lakeland.  SLDC staff will be out and about in Staveley, Holme, Endmoor, Grange-over-Sands and Windermere starting on Tuesday 16 March.
